| [06:08:31] | mack: | Detection alone won't change the recording. It just marks (flags) what it thinks is a change from program to commercial or vice versa. So if it gets it wrong, you can manually add/remove the marks afterward (or just ignore them and skip back or ahead when watching). |

I still cannot find a complete colour-key for the recorded titles in the front end UI. these were recordings that I had been trying to save, but, got deleted… All vanished anyway. I am not able to yet get that job to run automatically and/or during a recording. I also decided to upgrade from my flat mouse pad television aerial, which I had been using for testing purposes, and have ordered an Omni directional that can be swivelled. |

| [22:47:54] | mack: | The mysteriously gone recordings sound either like display filter rules set so you can't see them, or recording expiration rules are set incorrectly (or storage groups for recordings is too small). |
| [22:49:58] | mack: | The Backend Status tab in the web ui has as section in Machine Info that has disk space usage and recently deleted recordings and ones set to auto-expire. Looking at that might help troubleshoot. |
