[01:01:04] | Sabotender: | Hmm is it possible to detect and use more than one TV tuners for receiving simultaneous broadcast, and DVR recording from both? |
[01:02:25] | Sabotender: | not certain if it's possible to run more than one instance at the same time. |

[04:10:39] | mack: | Multiple tuners can record simultaneously (assuming your hardware can handle it). Watching while recording, if that's what you're talking about is possible, but also takes a bit more resources. Tangentially, you CAN do multiple channels from the same tuner if they're in the same stream multiplex (like ATSC channels 8.1, 8.2, etc. |
[04:11:21] | mack: | otherwise, a tuner can only be active for one open connection at a time. |

[21:41:05] | Sabotender: | Good gracious! I do apologise for this delayed response. |
[21:41:06] | Sabotender: | What I meant, to ask, is MythTV able to recognise and tune multiple adapters, as a single thread, or, would I need to run separate instances of the application? Is it possible to run multiple instances? |
