| [18:11:30] | markk_: | gigem: sorry for the late reply – been a little busy. re GPU transcode – in principle, it is straightforward enough for the decoding side. Probably only requires a few lines of code. The re-encode would also probably be relatively straightforward (i.e. to use the GPU). Joining the 2 together would be ideal and again probably not too hard (if the driver supports both decoding and encoding). |

There is also the issue of settings – so would probably require some new settings – and at worst a whole new set akin to the video display profiles (although unlikely). |

You should revert the latest change to dbcheck.cpp and add another schema update which only changes the types. |
