Uninstall libass-dev, configure libass with --disable-fontconfig --disable-require-system-font-provider, make, make install and build mythtv. Voila, no subtitles. Hopefully, it's the same issue as on Android and whole lot easier to debug on Linux. That will have to wait, though, football playoffs await. |
