[17:24:45] stuarta: right, added extra build workers for centos7 and ubuntu-testing for 0.28, so that should finish off some outstanding work
[17:24:56] stuarta: need to get a debian testing builder now
[17:28:34] stuarta: and get the damn new version of the build master to work

[19:42:47] jpabq: Regarding being able to initially configure MythTV using ServicesAPI, the first step seems to be to get rid of the check that capture cards and sources exist when running mythbackend.
[19:44:06] jpabq: Scheduler::VerifyCards should just log errors instead of aborting. Will the scheduler crash and burn if it tries to run without any cards defined?
[20:08:53] gigem: jpabq: I don't believe so.
[20:15:16] jpabq: gigem: Yeah, I just tried it. The scheduler works fine even if no cards have been defined. Any objection to making !VerifyCards non-fatal?
[20:25:41] peterbennett: jpabq: The Ubuntu package has used a patch to allow backend to run without cards. They will no longer need that. I think it is a good change, you should be able to have a backend that just serves up videos.
[20:28:16] peterbennett: install.
[20:37:25] gigem: jpabq: No objection.
[20:38:39] jpabq: Okay, I will make that change.
[21:07:36] markspieth: tgm4883: sorry my mistake. control.in for me is the same as upstream.

[23:49:54] jpabq: Until mythtv-setup has been run, mythbackend defaults to thinking it is a "slave" instead of the master. Anyone know why that is the default instead of assuming it is a master backend?
