| [22:18:44] | jpabq: | Strange. In DeviceReadBuffer, poll() is not honoring the timeout. If I stop the input data, the poll() should time-out after 2.5 seconds, but instead it hangs. Doing a `pkill mythbackend` hangs, because that thread never returns, because poll is wedged. |
| [22:20:26] | jpabq: | A 'wake_pipe' is setup in there, so DRB::Stop can write to the pipe, which should also "wake up" the poll(), but when the poll() gets in this wedged state, even that will not cause the poll() to return. The only thing that causes the poll() to return, is re-enabling the input data feed. |
