FWIW, I as partly joking about dropping the support for ATSC EIT. IMHO, though, it does seem like a feature whose value is not worth the cost of maintaining it. |

Here in Poland preasure on scarse resourse efficiency (BW on trnasponder/MUX) is so high that I see periodic upgrades on encoders: lowered bitrate transforms into blured picture. End effect is that on some HD channels picture is so softy/blured that it loks like SD. |
