[08:49:06] stuartm: yeah :/
[08:49:22] stuarta: tbh, i'm quite happy with startssl.com at this point
[08:50:16] stuartm: as far as I understand, they've setup the CA and issued the first certificates, software is written but they want to do more testing before going live
[08:51:21] stuarta: i just read a blog post from them, and they want more cross signing to improve the browser trust
[08:52:15] stuartm: startssl is fine for now, and probably would be fine in general except for the revocation issue

[11:43:45] sphery: Regarding #12501 , I haven't looked over the backtraces, but at a quick grep 'Thread.*(Thread' | wc -l shows a suspicious 354, 356, and 353 threads in the traces. Does current head actually have that many running or is something very broken happening on his system (and possibly because of his use of xbmc)?
[11:43:45] ** MythLogBot http://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/12501 **
[11:48:49] stuarta: i was wondering that too, there's a lot of stuff waiting on mutexes
[11:49:09] stuarta: i'm gunna have to review the backend log to see if I can work out what it was doing at the time
[11:49:29] stuarta: since at minimum there appear to be tv_rec threads and eit scanner threads
[11:53:53] stuarta: which implies both recording and eit collection

[12:01:14] sphery: Yeah, I guess it's possible that they're valid. Also, the "Once I finished gdb debugging and let it sit for a minute, XBMC started playing again without me restarting mythtv
[12:02:07] sphery: " part makes me wonder if maybe his computer just can't keep up with all the things he's asking it to do (especially if MythTV really does need 350 threads to do its job in his configuration).
[12:02:17] sphery: so, maybe just an underpowered system
[12:02:19] Valen: so I figure you guys are most likley to have come across this issue. using pulseaudio + nvidia + hdmi, all has been well, however after a recent upgrade if I turn the tv off and on again I get no sound
[12:02:43] Valen: in pavucontrol the hdmi port stays saying "unplugged"
[12:03:39] Valen: for added flavour i am using xorg.conf to force the video out on HDMI regardless of if the screen is there or not so that I get a picture if the system boots when the screen is off
[12:03:58] Valen: I have a pair of mythbuntu 14.04 systems exhibiting this fault
[12:04:12] Valen: any clue as to where to start looking at this one?
[12:08:41] Valen: its a GT730 btw

[12:16:25] Valen: ahh blast I always forget this is the dev #
[12:16:28] Valen: sorry
[12:16:46] Valen: I have the video sorted, its just the audio that is being problematic
[12:17:07] stuarta: ok

[14:05:45] paul-h: It fixes an issue reported with MythMusic on the users-list at least in master
[14:14:04] paul-h: The same code is in 0.27-fixes so probably should be fixed there as well although I don't have a 0.27 install to test
