[07:50:54] JohnBergqvist: I've authored a MySQL script that fixes the problem of the Program title being repeated at the beginning or end of the Subtitle field, like this: Title: "Horizon" Subtitle: "Horizon: The £10 Million Challenge".
[07:56:13] JohnBergqvist: I was just wondering where the best place to publish it would be, As Honir, the grabber's maintainer would never want to implement it himself.

[10:14:09] warpme: gigem: sorry for silence regarding AMD/vdpau thing. I have exactly the same issue like You on AMD platforms served by glamor (all new HW served by mesa's radeonsi instead of r600). I already filled bug report for this: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86781
[10:20:46] warpme: Generally: if You want to perfect playback of interlaced content with 2x DI – nvidia is simply unmatchable today. Works silky smooth, stable and problem free. Recently I again give run for ION1 and NUC i5: even in NUC will have finally 2x DI – picture on Intel is subjectivelly worse than Nvidia's for me. For sure mather of taste. Regarding AMD: on minimyth2, AND 8310 and 2x DI I have almost perfect playback: no sync/stutter issues except
[10:25:00] warpme: issue of v.short (50mSec like) picture freezes regularly every 0.5sec or so. Regulariuty of freezes hints me about systematic issue between glamor and mesa and EXA don't have this issue. I was thinking freezes are because I'm testing it on E2100 (CPU has only 2x1GHz, 8310 is slowest KABINI). But as You have quite similiar issues on 6450 (much more powerfull card) – it look like issue isn't performace related but probably page flip sync betwee
[10:28:19] warpme: I think key area You should investihate is: mesa (vdpau part in stack) and xf86-video (page flip part). Also DRM is important as it provides VSYNC to x86-video.
[10:40:58] warpme: heh it looks like bot truncates some of my messages. Re-enter them...

[15:58:30] gigem: paul-h: Thanks for your comments on #12499. Can I assume, then, that ioctls (or similar) are used configure the one hardware device to pass the appropriate diseqc configuration upstream to the switch? That seems reasonable to me and probably how I would implement it at the device driver level. Unfortianly, I seem to be getting a completely different story from Ian via email. According to him, it sounds like

[15:58:31] gigem: additional frontend devices magically appear when needed. I think he's confusing how MythTV formerly presented diseqc configuration with the Linux, device layer questions I'm asking. To help me sort this out, does anyone have a working diseqc configuration with MythTV 0.27? If so, could you please provide a dump of your capturecard and cardinput tables? Once I see what the database is supposed to look like,
[15:58:33] gigem: it's just a matter of fixing the current mythtv-setup to generate it.
[15:59:33] gigem: And another bit.
[15:59:54] gigem: jya: Upgrading mesa from 3.5.9 to 3.6.3 got AMD/vdpau working with MythTV and Kodi on my Debian system. It also didn't have the stuttering problem with the 2x deinterlacing even though it's the exact same hardware. The only concerning thing was deinterlacing couldn't keep up on 1080i, h.264 material with moderate timestretching. I don't have that much 1080i, h.264 material, but I do have some.
