If you drive them close to full you will wear out the little working area left with your working set quickly. otoh you don't need a SSD, just keep the database/os and recordings on separate devices and optimize the DB e.g. run mysqltuner.pl and the first statement here https://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/commit/de66b . . . fde7072bb606 |
