Anyway, here's a thought on a hopefully simple delete path that isn't racy. The FE sets deletepending and then signals the BE via Myth proto that "I just marked something for deletion and if the delete handling thread isn't already active, wake it up". |

Anyway, from a user's point of view, when the frontend tells me the file was deleted, I expect it to be gone and never come back except for extreme circumstances such as someone changing file/directory permissions. |
