The cron job checks to see if the hdpvr device is not in use, and makes sure there are no recordings scheduled to begin in the next few minutes, then if that file exists, it sends a power-toggle code to the STB. The HD-PVR is plugged into the STB (I obviously don't use the HD-PVR's IR-blaster for this), |
