[14:54:31] sphery: lautriv: a) use ssh -Y and b) look at the log file... Note, also, it's likely easiest to do: ssh -l mythtv -Y node002 , and then once in the terminal, run mythtv-setup. It's important that you have a properly configured environment to run mythtv applications, and it's quite possible you don't. If you run it in a terminal, you can actually see the messages it's giving without having to hunt down a log file.

[15:00:46] lautriv: i'm aware of that, usually if i run mythtv-setup while backup runs i get a warning. not this time.

[15:02:30] sphery: (it also often takes many seconds to stop properly, and if mythtv-setup is run during those seconds, mythtv-setup will fail)

[15:23:20] lautriv: ok, solved the half way : removed all tuners on slave, entered new tuners/connections, created a fake input and it was able to tune . switched the new tuners to the same sources like master. order is now 1,2,3,4,7,8 still NOT shown in status :(
