[05:26:35] rumblebumble: Hey Guys, Just installed 0.25. Great improvements. Things seem more responsive. Mythweb also is much faster. I did notice one possible bug. The theme loader seems to hang continuously. Reboot required. Does anyone know if this bug has been documented?
[05:27:03] rumblebumble: The theme loader hangs when changing theme
[05:31:46] rumblebumble: I
[05:39:10] rumblebumble: I found bug 10334 but it does not seem to encompass this issue. It used to take me two times to enable a theme. Now it simply does not work and does not work, I am running 0.25-beta-173

[05:41:29] petefunk: does it change to the selected theme after reloading mythfronted? I think I might have bumped the same thing but didn't bother to look further as I don't switch themes very often.
[05:41:37] rumblebumble: It hangs on the screen that says "Downloading Blue Abract Theme"
[05:42:09] rumblebumble: No, it does not
[05:43:17] rumblebumble: If the theme has not been previously downloaded, it does not load on reboot. If the theme was previously downloaded, it will load it without needing to be rebooted
[05:46:17] petefunk: What is the result if you add 1 more reboot to it? ie dl theme, reboot, dl same theme, reboot
[05:46:21] petefunk: It shows up then?
[05:46:54] rumblebumble: I never change my theme much either, but I feel this is quite a serious bug since it is triggered by doing normal use of the software
[05:47:39] rumblebumble: Nope, For example, it will not load Blue Abstract 1.7
[05:48:16] rumblebumble: I have some time if there is anything you would like me to try.
[05:48:45] petefunk: Nah, I'm not really the one to ask. I'm just another user that has seen something similar to you.
[05:49:09] petefunk: Curious about it myself.
[05:50:37] rumblebumble: 0.24 had the double load bug but this seems a bit more serious, I just wanted to bring it up since I did not wanted to see it released with a but like this. It is an easy bug to miss
[05:53:02] rumblebumble: Perhaps I should submit a bug
[05:53:53] petefunk: Or hang out here for a while. I'm sure someone more informed than me will speak up at some point.
[05:54:23] petefunk: I do know the git branch where themes are stored has recently been moved.
[05:54:38] petefunk: Its possible that blue isn't there.
[05:55:36] rumblebumble: ahhh, ok. I tried a few others and they did not work either

[19:44:06] wagnerrp: speaking of which... any new greek spam since the changes several hours ago?
[19:44:17] wagnerrp: f--!

[19:45:36] Beirdo: there is that
[19:45:41] Beirdo: and fickle too
[19:46:18] knightr: wagnerrp, the MX is not necessarily (especially for a big ISP) the server that sends though...
[19:46:28] knightr: Beirdo, SURBL might work for this though...
[19:47:06] wagnerrp: it was on hotmail, 4-digit year for username and email, and they were different
[19:47:10] wagnerrp: it should have matched
[19:47:27] wagnerrp: knightr: this is for the wiki
[19:47:44] wagnerrp: meaning its the email server the wiki sends the account authorization requests to
[19:48:41] wagnerrp: ive got a couple dozen account-less email domains blocked
[19:48:57] knightr: wagnerrp, OK so there's even less chance than the traffic would come from there (no ISP would use the same IP for its clients' Internet traffic and their mail server...)
[19:49:07] wagnerrp: but ones like mailinator have the ability to accept any email from any address
[19:49:41] wagnerrp: so you pick some arbitrary email address, @ one of these account-less domains
[19:49:48] wagnerrp: and then just load up that page
