jbird: I have a PVR-500, PVR-250, HD3000 and HD5500 all in my system, and haven't noticed any issues. But then again, it's not often that all 5 would be recording at the same time, and I usually use a low bit-rate on the analog tuners (400x480@4400)

jbird: I may be wrong, but I'd think you're not likely to have an issue with a hardware encoder card. If you had 'framegrabber' cards, I could see that being an issue.

So... Anybody on tonight that's familiar enough with the backend and database structure to help me resolve my "Canceled recording (Recorder Failed)" issue? I googled for 3–4 hours yesterday, and did delete all sources and cards and re-add them back in...

I've verified the cardid, sourceid and channel is valid for most of the schedules – I'm confused why the backend can't initialize the card for a scheduled recording. (PS: Running SVN trunk 14517)

gnome42: no – I had upgraded to svn head (14500 at the tiem) to switch to SD, and had an issue with the frontend segfaulting. The backend was working though, so I left it there for a few days...

gnome42: Then I went back a few versions to get the frontend working again, and had this issue. I did an svn up on Friday, and the frontend works, but now I've still got the issue with the failed scheduled recordings.
