hello, I've just performed an upgrade from mythtv 0.19 to 0.20. I knew my mysql database was messed up from a previous development effort on my part, but I wanted to keep my recorded program history and such, so I did a manually painstaking upgrade of the SQL by:

I've got the option turned on in mythfrontend, nvidia-settings is set to sync xvideo and opengl to vsync. Nothing seems to work. mplayer does the same thing. Anyone got any ideas for me?

lwizardl: no, the hauppauge nova-t 500 is a DVB-T card. Dish network uses to some extend DVB-S. the physical transmissions is afaik DVB-S conform but the streams are not. You need a DVB-S card or two
