[07:02:02] CBiLL: yes
[07:02:04] CBiLL: bttv

[07:06:15] CBiLL: and since I can't find a cardlist for FC5 I am uable to find the right modprobe tuner

[16:31:32] quink: well my system is a socket A matx system now.
[16:32:08] quink: but its been giving me issues, right now it won't load the firmware on the hauppauge card, and its running out of disk space.
[16:32:25] seth|laptop: mine was a socket 462 sempron 3000+ (which is now slave1) and I upgraded to amd64 3200+ with this on-baord nvidia board
[16:33:13] quink: Plus, i'm working on consolidating computers and upgrading services. So I got a nice media pc case, going to do 2x250gb drives in raid 1, 1x400gb drive for media, have it do mythtv and web/email server stuff

[22:46:37] Dagmar: Yeah, don't use SVN HEAD.
[22:46:47] Dagmar: It's not guaranteed to compile, let alone work
[22:46:58] Dagmar: Use 0.20-fixes from SVN if you're not going to debug and fix things
[22:47:18] kazer__ (kazer__!n=kazer@178.204.98-84.rev.gaoland.net) has quit (Read error: 110 (Connection timed out))
[22:47:21] stf57: I have try the 0.20 official and i got the same problem.

[22:47:58] Dagmar: Then perhaps something more descriptive than "problem to recording" would be of use
[22:48:33] Ceninant: Does knoppmyth have mythtv's upnp features?
[22:48:37] stf57: When i tag a show from the tv guide i can select recoding option and when i return to the tv guide i got a Single Record +1 Recorder Failed
[22:48:49] Ceninant: Or, better yet, what exactly are mythtv's upnpn features? If they are like xbmc's client capability, with a simple file server..*drool*
[22:48:52] Dagmar: Ceminant: That;'s a new feature so you might wanna ask about it in #knoppmyth
[22:49:03] Ceninant: kk
[22:49:21] Dagmar: Basically, from what I've been told that code was written withtout the expectation that it would work, but apparently it does.  :)
[22:49:43] Dagmar: ...and if you've read the UPNP specs, that's about the way the specs go

[22:50:54] Dagmar: You can define anything pretty much for UPNP advertisement, and just like APple's service advertisement stuff, lots of it doesn''t really seems useful
[22:51:14] stf57: Dagmar: What!!!
[22:51:36] Dagmar: Hmm?
[22:51:59] Dagmar: You can advertise ssh service, but why is this more useful than just trying an ssh connection

[22:52:36] Dagmar: stf57: Not necessary. So long as the uid the _backend_ runs as can write to it, it shouldn't be a problem
[22:53:02] Dagmar: Check mythbackend.log
