I have an irblaster and an sblive audigy 2zs remote. both work with lirc 0.8.0, however, here's the problem: the instance of lircd that runs for the irblaster uses /dev/lircd as the socket, and the instance for the audigy remote is on /dev/lircd1. mythtv only likes to read from /dev/lircd, and only one can work on that socket at a time. is there any way to wo

nero – Actually, I'm not sure it's possible as the PVR-250 has the mpeg encoder on-board, and encodes the tuned analog audio into the mpeg2... You may have to use a 'dumb' tuner and do the encoding in software to get digital audio...

Had one guy loading 8000 videos over NFS and it was a huge waste of resources and time loading the meta data since he didn't want it anyway. And In my tests I found that turning off metadata chopped my mythvideo load time down to less than 1 second instead of just over 3 :)
