ok i still can't get lirc to work...i'm using a zapway receiver...dmesg shows lirc_serial is auto-detecting an active high receiver...but using mode2 or irw or anything else doesn't give me any results when i try sending it signals. I verified that the receiver works by hooking it up to my XP box and using winlirc...is there any other way i can tell that linux actually is seeing it? i'm at a loss..

Does anyone here use nuvexport? I just upgraded it (and Mythtv, actually) today and now the aspect ratio is screwy. Everything is squished horizontally. What baffles me is that nuvexport correctly detects the 4:3 aspect ratio and even correctly calculates the resolution for the video.
