hmm, the ubuntu builders configure for no libcec, no openmax, no opengl es 2.0, no systemd_notify. So they are not testing the relevant code paths at all. "sudo apt-get build-dep mythtv" should fix some of these (but its still installing qt4 stuff, need to look at that)
