Personally, I have been running a patch which changes OSD messages related to seeking, to use the 'short' timeout instead of the 'medium' one. In otherwords, when jumping forward or backwards, I only want to see the OSD message for 3 seconds instead of 5. I am happy to keep this patch private, but just wondered if I am in the minority for prefering this behavior. |
