[01:15:14] Beirdo: sorry, was off mucking with mythtranscode... and getting slightly durnk
[03:02:48] jpabq: Captain_Murdoch, when you change the theme packager to be automatic, what will trigger a new bundle? Will it actually look for a version change, or will it trigger off of any modification to the git repo?

[12:18:22] Captain_Murdoch: jpabq, I actually hooked up the first part of it the other night. currently, it just runs a cron at 11PM EST to update the packages. I still need to run the index rebuild manually though. once themes.mythtv.org is moved back to our server, I'll get that part automated as well. and eventually, hopefully, :) we'll have a website where you can trigger a rebuild. that won't have much of an effect though until I setup somet
[12:18:22] Captain_Murdoch: hing to allow us to serve the package directly if it's not on the ftp server yet.
[12:21:23] Captain_Murdoch: currently when the package script runs, for git repos, it just does a pull to get the latest files and then packages them up. the file date is set to the timestamp of the latest file, so if there are no changes, the .zip package date doesn't change so we don't rsync a new file to the ftp servers or anything like that. preview images are compared and we regenerate the thumbnail if the preview changed. I do need to build
[12:21:23] Captain_Murdoch: in more intelligence, right now it brute force rebuilds packages, it doesn't check ahead of time to see if anything changed. it was easier to re-zip than to do a diff and then optionally zip.

[17:24:34] toeb: are the animations supposed to work in the osd too?
[17:51:41] stuartm: I doubt it, there is a layer of abstraction in the OSD and a different set of painters that complicates it
