Currently the OSD "menu" is really just MythDialogBox with MythUIButtonListItems. We also have ESCAPE/BACK set to simply clear the whole OSD. |

Should we be using something other than MythDialogBox for the menu? Should I just convert the OSD to use MythScreenStack, then have each ESCAPE/BACK peel back one screen from the stack? Other ideas? |
| [00:23:13] | sphery: | If I were to put back the hard-coded LEFT/RIGHT navigation, it would apply to all MythDialogBox objects throughout all of MythTV--including in the UI and in the OSD (so, popups like the actionPopup in PlaybackBox or the Exit Prompt in playback or ...). My understanding is that a themer could, in fact, design a MythDialogBox to allow horizontal layout, so hard-coded LEFT/RIGHT usage doesn't seem appropriate. |
