what is confusing me is when I do setup the channel 0 in the channel editor I give it the video source of DirecTV which is my SD account and it just works. Thats it. But when I actually setup the input to use the Directv source and inport all of the channels I get only a black screen

so, I like recordovertime for all my recordings (30 sec pre-role, 90 sec post-role) in my case, because it will always give me a buffer to each end of my recordings just in case, but if the tuner is needed, it'll still use it elsewhere
