emerica, I could be wrong since we're talking of European technology and I am North American but I believe it stands for Common Interface, that's the place where you plug a card that let's you decode paid for content. It's somewhat similar to cable cards in North America.

Ubuntu 12.04 server, MythTV installed via package manager, along with Mythweb. In my Videos storage group I've added in addition to the default location a few other locations. Mythweb appears to be able to see the files in the database, but when it constructs a path to the files it's trying to access only the default video storage directory, using the symlinks in the mythweb/data directory.

Find the location that mythweb is stored in (on my system, /var/www/mythweb). Go into the data directory there. There should be a set of symlinks. You'll want to update those to point to the new storage location.
