sphing: ok. well, the new mpeg2 transcoder doesn't take that long – it's really fast. when i was playing with mythburn initially, i did so on my athlon 700 and it was reasonably fast. making a DVd would only take a few hours. so, if mytharchive doesn't have to resize your recordings, you should be fine even on a box as slow as yours
