EricAnderson: it is a horrible fs, never use anything but reiserfs because its the only one worth its nuts. but the problem with all filesystems that aren't xfs is that none of them are gonna delete really really big files as fast as xfs... so you gotta make compromises sometimes.

hmmm, i installed the newest ivtv (0.3.5c), and the echo seems to be gone, but the sound is still messed up. Now its just really crappy sounding. I checked the settings where you change the bitrate and it says its getting it at 256kbps.
